Die kleinen Enfield-Boxen reichen aus und sind nach Behandlung mit Karosseriedichtmasse auch leidlich dicht. Obenauf für den schnellen Zugriff sind die Wasserflaschen.

The small Enfield panniers are sufficient, and after sealant treatment they are kind of dust tight, too. The waterbottles go on top for quick access.

Phil und Martin kommen am Flussufer daher.

Tanken ist immer ein Erlebnis. Beispielsweise hat ARAL in Albanien keine offiziellen Tankstellen. Die Zapfsäulen wurden vor vielen vielen Jahren in Deutschland abmontiert.

Refilling is always an adventure. ARAL does not have official petrol stations in Albania. That petrol pump came from Germany many many years ago.

An der Tankstelle fragen wir nach einem Restaurant. Wir landen in einem etwas feineren (und klimagekühlten) Etablissement - Phil muss ein Hemd anziehen. Martin leiht ihm eines.

At the petrol station we ask for a restaurant, and find ourselves in a posh (and air conditioned) place. Phil has to wear a shirt, borrowed from Martin.

Wir folgen der Piste bis ans Ende, wo noch ein Ort verzeichnet ist. Hier wollen wir Quartier beziehen.

We follow the track to the end, where the last village is in the map. We want to find a place to sleep there.

The last Y crossing.

Wir landen auf einer kleinen Privatbaustelle und fragen ob man hier irgendwo campen kann. Wir werden 20 Meter bergauf auf eine kleine Wiese gewiesen - offensichtlich sind wir die ersten Gäste eines zukünftigen Campingplatzes. Die Zufahrt wird noch diesen Abend fertig.

The track ends at a private construction site, where we ask if there is a spot for camping around. We are directed further 20 meters up to a little meadow. Apparently we are the first guests of a future campground. The access road gets finished that evening.
