Registration below is for administrating all participants in our database to sort out requests, declines, invitations, mailings etc.

§

1. Participation at your own risk

By passing the toll barrier for Edelrautehütte for the first time, the participant declares that entering, staying and participating in all activities (eg. ride-outs) of the Tauerntreffen rally is at their own risk and peril.

§

2. Liability for Damage

The organizers and volunteers assume no liability for damages

• from the behavior of other participants
• from the operation of the vehicle to be used
• incurred to the person, vehicle or other property of the participant by the operation of motor vehicles of third parties
• from the loss of personal belongings
  

The meeting site is not a closed space in which we have options to secure your property. So please care for your belongings yourself. Excluded are damages caused by intent or gross negligence of the TT.

§

3. Personal Responsibility

The participant shall have sole civil and criminal responsibility for all damage caused by him, by a vehicle used by him or by hin vehicle if left to a third person to use. Although the meeting is accessed via a private road, the whole area is considered a public road where normal road rules apply

4. Exclusion from the Meeting

The participant agrees to follow the instructions and orders of the TT. Otherwise, and/or due to gross breaches of ordinary care, especially when danger to other persons or things is involved, the participant may be banned without refund.

5. Health

The participant confirms nt to suffer from any physical disability or health problems, which interfere with driving ability and participation in the meeting.
Camping at a winter meeting is a potential hazard due to cold and / or special weather events. You are responsible for yourself.

§

6. Equipment and suitability of the vehicle

We can not check if your vehicle or other equipment is adequate, and are therefore not liable for any damage caused by you or to you by unsuitable equipment.

7. Road Conditions and Snow Clearing

The road is only cleared - not salted and not gravelled.
There may be ice as well.
The toll road and camp site is maintained and cleared by Hohentauern community, while the Edelraute access road is maintained and cleared by the Edelraute leasoholders or their subcontractors.
The TT does have neither the means nor the liability to keep the roads rideable.
We can not ensure that alternative accommodation is available and / or you can reach the meeting place again after leaving it, due to change of weather / road conditions.

§

8. Ability to ride

The participant confirms analogous to the Highway Code and the provisions of the Criminal Code, not to ride tired or under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances. Obviously impaired participants are to report to the TT, which can take appropriate measures to prevent damage.

§

9. Force Majeure

If the Tauerntreffen rally has to be wholly or partially canceled due to force majeure (eg bad weather), any liability due to potentially resulting damage towards a participant is excluded.

§

10. Edelraute Accomodation

If somebody does not claim his bed in the first booked night and does not decline, we reserve the right to give the bed to someone else for the following nights!

For your bed, check in at the Edelraute bar WHEN YOU ARRIVE!

Booked beds have to be paid if you did not decline!

Severability

Should any points in this declaration become invalid, the validity of this statement is not affected.

PERSONAL DATA

I process your data locally (Excel) for registering you as overnight guest at the Edelraute Inn, as well as for checking the use of the private toll road.
Some of your data will be published online so you can check the correctness on the invitation list:

• Name (only the first 3-5 letters)
• First Name
• Combination, Solo or Passenger
• State of Invitation
• Accomodation (booked nights for Edelraute Inn)

I do not publish e-mail adress, full name, vehicle data, road address or who travels with whom.

I will use your data to send you TT related e-mails. This is between me and you only, with no other recipients. I do not send mail.

You may unregister from all that, and I then will delete all your personal data, but you can not take part at the TT then as it all is based on e-mail and the internet as our means of communication, sorry.

PICTURES OF YOU, TAKEN BY OTHERS AT THE TT (INCLUDING RIDE-OUTS)

You agree by registering for and taking part in this private event that pictures of you may published in TT related private publications, e.g. in the yearly TT report, without further notice and without your explicit agreement.

PICTURES YOU TAKE AT THE TT AND PUBLISH OVER THE INTERNET

You agree by registering for and taking part in this private event that pictures you publish in TT related forum postings or on publishing platforms like flickr, Google Photo etc may be copied to use on my site motorang.com, e.g. in the yearly TT report, without further notice and without your explicit agreement. This agreement is NOT for professional use, e.g. as stock photo, for print/magazine publication or the like.

All that said it always is possible to contact me beforehand to find a solution, if for any reason you wish to stay anonymous and away from the internet, as far as possible. We may use a pseudonym in the invitation list etc.
